Feeling lazy today but, you might dig this.

Hard to find inspiration today, yes even digging up old pics from the vault seems like a chore today. Christmas is a couple days away and I'm feeling it's toll. The guys over at NextGenSign printed me this banner for conventions and such. I love it, it makes me look official(lol) thanks for taking the time,Mr.F.

Mag gut bra ins

I like this guy, the idea came to me while sketching up a fly skeleton. Thought it be a fun little one and it was. I used a stain to mute out the white contrast and I think I went a little too dark. Either way I like this guy, thanks for taking the time.

Abstract black rose on little miss Dezi at the Reno convention.

Had a lot of fun doing this one! It was done at the Reno Immersed In Ink convention. I wanted to do something to enter in the unique ink competition, didn't place but thought it was a solid entry. Either way Dezzi loves it and that's all that matters to me! Thanks for letting me do my thing girl, can't wait for the next one(tattoo that is, don't think I'll be doing Immersed ink ink for awhile). Thanks for taking the time to check it out.

So where are you my little needle?

SO lucky to get to do this job. My buddy Jake gave me line "Between the moon and you Lunacy is setting in." Not only is Alkaline Trio one of my favorite Bands, Little Needle is my favorite Alkaline Trio song. He told me to run with it he had given me freedom to do what ever. I didn't wanna do just another band Tattoo, I wanted the tattoo to get the point across so if any fan of the band would see would know what it was, or to any other on looker the piece would stand on it's own. I thought a Neo-Traditional design with lots a color would be a good route to go. I stuck with more muted colors, and kept my line work very straight forward clean and solid, the old bold will hold treatment, not many if any double lining at all. Jake is a great guy a made the job a pleasure we took our time and had a great sesh. Jake, anytime my friend your always welcome in my chair.

Ajari Joan

A fallen priest from Hakkostu-San(skeleton Mountain) region of Japan, Ajari Joan fell in love with a beautiful girl, a grave sin for a buddhist priest. His shame turned him into a demon and he ravaged and destroyed his own temple. In his old age he re-pented in deep prayer through a supreme act of will. While praying for redemption , his body rotted away, turning him into a skeleton. From the book HAUNTED by:Dave Fox this is more of a rendition of Ajari Joan rather than a reproduction, It's Dave Fox's art work but small adjustments were made to make it a bit more towards Bruces Ideas. I had so much fun on this job i was sad when it was over. Can't wait to get healed pics I put a lot of yellow highlights in this one can't wait till they show. Enjoy:)

When things are good there good.

So the other day I was Blessed with the chance to tattoo Joe Ginsberg, Joe plays bass with Chuck Ragan. I did damn the torpedoes a script from the Tom Petty Record, I love music tattoos and this one adds to the pile. The Band played two nights at the Lounge at the Palms Casino, Joe put me on the list and I got a sweet Signed Record from the Dude himself Chuck Ragan who by the way is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Thank you guys for making my night twice in a row. Check out Chuck Ragan if you haven't already and check out Joe Ginsberg and his many side projects.

A family piece for Kathy.

This was a lot of fun to do, Kathy is a mother of one of my clients. She wanted a traditional floral piece to represent her Husband and two daughters. The rosary represents her faith in the lord and the 12 beads signify the 12 birth stone colors. I enjoyed doing this piece and anytime your ready Kathy I got a spot open for ya!

Diamonds and horse shoes, sorry no Grenades.

I did this little banger on my apprentice. Again neo traditionalism is the way of the walk these days, and I like it:)

Oh Mary Mary Mary in the key of Black and Gray

Arm piece I did on Felix, I enjoyed the job a lot, black and gray is a game I like to play:)

Count those blessings:)

Another piece I did on Zoe a while back, Fun little gypsy head. Neo traditionalism has been the flavor of the day as of late:)

The Acacia Strain!!!!!!!!!!

I had a lot of fun doing this job! took two sessions, first session i went in and did all the hatch work and dark tones. Second session was all color and details. It is a reproduction of the album cover "Wormwood" by The Acacia Strain. Great band and I got to do it on my little homie Zoe.
